RRB Group D 2024 Application form

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the RRB Group D Recruitment 2025, offering approximately 32,438 vacancies across various posts in Level 1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.

The recruitment drive includes positions such as Pointsman, Assistant, Track Maintainer, Assistant Loco Shed, and Assistant Operations.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must have passed Class 10th (Matriculation) or its equivalent from a recognized board.
• ITI or diploma holders in relevant trades from recognized institutions may also apply.

Age Limit (as of July 1, 2025):

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 36 years
• Age relaxation:
  • OBC: 3 years
  • SC/ST: 5 years

Application Fee:

• General/OBC: ₹500 (₹400 refundable upon appearing for CBT)
• SC/ST/Reserved Categories: ₹250 (fully refundable upon appearing for CBT)

 Selection Process:

Computer-Based Test (CBT):

Subjects include General Awareness, Mathematics, General Intelligence, and Reasoning.

The CBT consists of multiple-choice questions and is divided into the following sections:

Negative Marking: 0.33 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

• Candidates qualifying for the CBT will be called for a Physical Efficiency Test to assess physical endurance and capability.

Document Verification (DV):

Verification of eligibility and authenticity of submitted documents.

Medical Examination:

Candidates must meet the medical standards as prescribed in the official notification.

2. Register Yourself: New users need to register using an email ID and phone number.
3. Fill Out the Application Form: Enter all the required details like personal and academic information.
4. Upload Documents: Upload your photograph, signature, and other necessary documents.
5. Pay the Application Fee: Pay the application fee through the available payment modes (debit/credit card, net banking).
6. Submit the Form: Double-check all the details and submit your form. Save a copy for future reference.

Salary Structure:

The salary structure for RRB Group D posts is based on Level 1 of the 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix.
